Dippo Offspring in DC

I spent the mid part of this week in our nation's capital as part of my orientation for the federal government. Ms. Anna was a gracious hostess and liaison to her fair city, as usual. Though I was staying at Hotel Monaco instead of the Silverman-Christianson abode, and worked both days, we saw quite a bit of each other. On my first night in DC, Anna took me to this great restaurant called Cafe Atlantico right across from the Navy Memorial. The food was delicious and even though I couldn't have what looked like some delicious cocktails, the waitress did offer all manner of Aids - lemon and lime. As we were dining, the Navy Choir and Orchestra began to play. Anna commented that this was "right up Matt's alley". Indeed. On Wednesday night, I made the short trek up to Dupont Circle where Anna and Todd entertained me by taking me to fancy chocolate shops, cooking me vegetarian fajitas, and showing me the newest Project Runway on what many civilized people have in their homes: cable tv. But not before we finished up a civil war puzzle on the dining room table. While we were preparing dinner and judging budding fashion designers on reality TV, we counted the number of times I went to the restroom. At nights end, after three hours, our tally was at least 10. They were kind enough not to charge me for a share in the water bill. Suffice it to say, I couldn't have asked for a classier visit, really. Thanks Anna and Todd!

It's true, if you come visit me we can make puzzles and buy fancy chocolate, and I wont charge extra if you have to pee a lot.
